Elder abuse charity to host Silver Sunday event in Chichester

The helpline has invited organisations across West Sussex to join it at the Graylingwell Chapel from 10am to 1pm for a mid-morning of fun, activities, workshops and 1-2-1’s as well as meeting professionals in the area, be able to get free advice and support for a loved one.

The Chichester Community Development Trust has also agreed to open its café on the day for refreshments and the charity are wanting as many visitors as possible.

The helpline is pledging to raise £2 million by 2023, to help 10,000 victims of abuse or neglect, and to provide pro-bono legal support for at least 1,000 people and they also want to make our vital helpline a 24/7 operation.

The Hourglass mission is to end the harm, abuse and exploitation of older people in the UK.
