A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens encapsulates the magic of the season – with its themes of redemption, generosity, family and the joy of giving.

Its depiction of Victorian traditions and enduring messages of goodwill have helped shape the way Christmas is celebrated in the UK to this day.

And now you can get your festivities off to a heart-warming start this year with tickets to this event.

A Dickensian Christmas, a Raymond Gubbay Ltd presented event, will feature festive favourites such as Joy to the World, Sussex Carol, I Saw Three Ships, Ding Dong Merrily on High, In the Bleak Midwinter and Silent Night

There will be carols including God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Good king Wenceslas, O Come All Ye Faithful, O come, O come Emmanuel, plus Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.

Hilary Davan Wetton is to conduct the London Concert Brass and words will be read by Mark Williams.
