Bognor’s Regis School of Music enjoys successful Save the Children fundraiser
As spokeswoman Michela Cocolin explains: “The RSM has run the annual charity concert for 33 years. Because of Covid this year it was not possible to run it in the traditional format with a live audience.
“(Principal) Sasha Levtov had the idea of recording the individual performances of the RSM students and producing a DVD to send to all the Friends of the RSM and members of the Bognor Regis Music Club at the other end of Sudley Road as a cheering-up gift during these troubled times.

Michela added: “As a committee member for both the Bognor Regis Music Club and the Friends of the Regis School of Music, I was asked to write a letter to be sent with the DVD to each member. The response was amazing. We managed to raise £975, more than double what we would have normally made with the traditional concert at the Regis Recital Hall.
“We would like to send a warm thank-you to all the people who donated to the Save the Children charity and wish them a peaceful Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.”
