What's in this week's Gazette Sport?

IN THIS week's Gazette Sport, we have all the latest cricket news and have the first match reports from the new County League football season.

In the cricket scene, Littlehampton lost to leaders Chichester by 27 runs after being bowled out for just 99. See captain Benn Challen's reaction and his views on the rest of the season.

There's also news from the Invitation League. East Preston recorded a one-wicket win over Barns Green, Australian Andy Reid hit an unbeaten century for Rustington, Arundel won by six runs at home to Lindfield and Clymping, who are our Team Of The Week, suffered a 14-run defeat at Scaynes Hill.

The Sussex Invitation Cricket League has been licking its wounds after the big and nasty Sussex League came and took away 15 of their clubs because they couldn't get enough from East Sussex. Now the SIL have decided what they're going to do with who's left. They unveil their master plan for the future. Or something like that.

Jim Hughes' was at Wick versus Chichester, where Mick Catlin and a number of Wick players came up against their former side. And Steve Bailey saw Rustington pick up their first senior points with a 3-0 win at Southwick.
