Three in a row for Mullets

ARUNDEL Football Club appear to have got their season up and running after their third successive victory on Saturday.

Mullets, who had a mixed start to the season with three defeats in their opening eight matches, are now up to seventh place and could go within five points of the top if they win their game in hand.

Delighted Mullets' boss Vic Short said: "I'm glad the boys are enjoying their football again. We lost three league games early in the season and we lost only seven in the whole of last season, but I think it's going to be an open league.

"We've got to keep doing what we are doing and I'm very pleased with our three wins on the bounce."

All three of Arundel's wins have been away and have coincided with the Huckett brothers both hitting stunning form. One or both of them have been on target in their last four games with Short playing Mike in an attacking midfield role and Matt up front.
