Table-topping Saxons hit seven again

South Saxons scored seven goals for the second weekend running on Saturday.

The Hastings club won 7-1 away to bottom-of-the-table East Grinstead IV to consolidate their four-point lead in South Hockey League Sussex Area - Division One.

Saxons captain Paddy Cornish said: “It was always to be expected against a team that have played eight and lost eight (beforehand), although we were a bit dubious about what team they were going to put out.”
