Stable owners warned of fires

WEST Sussex stable owners have been advised by police to step up on their security following a spate of recent arson attacks on premises. Fortunately no animals or people were injured in the fires.

Fires were started overnight at three separate stables in Westergate, Walberton and Climping areas on April 12/13 and those responsible have still not been caught.

Anyone who can help with information is asked to contact Sussex Police.

A police spokesman said: "Please be aware if you have horses in stables at present, you should make regular checks."
