BEXHILL High School won the Rother Basketball Tournament at Claverham Community College.

The event for Years 8 and 9 saw Bexhill fend off competition from last year's winners Robertsbridge, St Richards and the hosts.

The best players on the day were also given the opportunity to attend trials for a Rother District Council team to take part in the Sussex Youth Games.

The event was organised by Andy Hodder, Rother District Council sports development officer Adrian Gaylon, Sussex basketball officer Phil Waghorn with the help of Claverham PE staff.
