RUN-OUTS COST ARUNDEL

ARUNDEL were left regretting the run-outs of captain Will Clark and opening batsman Alex Iles in their eight-wicket defeat at home to Findon on Saturday.

After sharing a second-wicket partnership worth 59, Clark was run-out by a direct hit from Mark Stewart when attempting a quick single. He had made 26, on a difficult batting track, from 67 balls.

Iles was fifth man out with the total on 123 when John Rogers produced an excellent piece of fielding. Iles had scored 42 from 126 balls with three fours. Only Australian Mark Rasmussen scored quickly for Arundel with his 45 coming at a run a ball. He hit six fours and one six.
