Grasshoppers win dream chance to train with England rugby stars

Chichester High School for Boys' Grasshoppers rugby team are ecstatic after winning the opportunity to train with England next year.

They entered a competition with AEG Grassroots hoping to win one of 50 Ultimate Samurai Kits and laundry packages but were up against schools and clubs across the UK.

Winning a kit was a huge boost to the boys and they will wear the specially-designed kit to Australia, promoting themselves and AEG on the tour.

Pictures were taken and posted on the AEG website for the next phase of the competition. Many people voted for their picture and they won a chance to train with the England elite team.

Coach Martyn Tilling said: “It’s great to see a state school reach the heights of a training day with the England elite squad. This will galvanise our fundraising and focus on our tour of Australia in 2012.”
