Mullets win but EP and Wick lose

ARUNDEL Football Club moved above Wick into fourth place with their 2-1 win at Hailsham in Division 1 on Saturday.

Jason Wimbleton gave Mullets an early lead, before an own goal gave them all three points nine minutes after half-time.

Wick suffered a surprise 3-0 defeat to relegation-threatened Worthing United and dropped to fifth.

Arundel are now just three points behind third-placed East Preston, with two games in hand, after EP lost 3-1 at Three Bridges.

In Division 2, Rustington stayed second after Brett Neal's 79th-minute goal gave them a 1-0 win over Midhurst.

In the same division, Littlehampton lost 2-0 at fourth-placed Lingfield.
