KING JOEL BURIES RUSTINGTON
DEBUTANT Joel Kingsbury was East Preston's hero at Rustington on Saturday when he rescued his side from the brink of defeat to victory.
Chasing 164 to win, EP had crashed from 56-1 to 72-6 and Rustington looked the favourites to win. But, Kingsbury crashed an unbeaten 46 and shared an unbroken 56-run partnership with Dan Williams for the eighth wicket.
Kingsbury offered just one chane, to Rustington captain Kananga Warren with the score on 109 but the ball flew between Warren's hands at pace. Kingsbury hit plenty of fours and one huge pulled six off Bajwa.
