Hunter trials were popular club event

GORING and District Riding Club had fine sunny weather for the second of their hunter trials which took place at Titnor Lane in Goring.

There was large number of entries with competitors coming from as far afield as Southampton and the event proved to be a highly popular addition to the club calendar.

Competition was stiff and it proved to be a fun day for both those taking part and spectators.

The club’s latest event was a Hunter’s Challenge last week when winners were:: Mini Novice Juniors- Amy Little and Treacle. Seniors, Paula Williams and Silverstreak II. Novice- Juniors, Amy Little and Treacle. Seniors, Dawn Austin and Ruben. Advanced Novice- Juniors, Erin Hartwell and Draygo. Seniors Jackie Tomlin and Lennie. Intermediate- Tabitha Whistler and Finigan. Open- Rebecca Longhurst and Cilbran Caradog.

The club’s next event is on Sunday October 24 with another competition in the winter dressage series at Hangleton Farm.
