Horsham Snooker update: Liley’s big break the highlight

Dave Liley’s magnificent 72 break was the highlight of the week as Roffey G claimed an impressive 3-2 win at YMCA A in Division 2 of the Horsham & District Snooker League.

The win moved third placed Roffey to within eight points of leaders Warnham A.

Elsewhere in Division 2, Ben Overton compiled a 42 break to help Horsham Club Casuals to a 4-1 win at home to Holbrook Club B, while fourth placed Warnham B saw off local rivals Warnham Rangers 3-2.

Horsham Club C won 3-2 at home against Rudgwick B and Warnham A repeated the scoreline at home to Barns Green A.

In Division 1 Horsham Club Wanderers stay top with a 4-1 win at Pulborough B, while second placed Horsham Club B went down 3-2 away to third placed Roffey GB despite Darren Jordan firing in a break of 40.

Elsewhere in the top flight, Sporting Roffey beat Warnham E 3-2 and Loxwood Sports A won 5-0 at lowly Roffey C. Pulborough D beat Roffey E away by the same score.

Division 3 leaders Lowfield Heath won 1-4 away at Oakwood Hill D and second placed Rusper Village A lost 3-2 at Barns Green B. Roffey F beat Roffey H 3-2 at home and Horsham Club D beat Horsham E 2-3 away with Jason Day making a break of 23.
