Roffey made to pay for mistakes
A good Roffey performance was undermined by three mistakes in a 4-1 defeat at home to Hurstpierpoint.
A Chris Webb own goal put Hurst ahead after six minutes and Aaron Jeal then gave away a penalty allowing Wayne Bashford to make it 2-0. Dave McNeil made it three before the break and Bashford got his second before sub Harry Roadley got a late consolation for Dan Redman’s Roffey.
