A brace from Darren Boswell and strikes from George Gaskin, Dave Herbert and Kieron Pamment ensured all three points for Golds.

Littlehampton took the lead on nine minutes when ex-Lancer Boswell’s 30-yard free kick squirmed under Callum Fidler and into the net.

Boswell got his second just two minutes later when he got in behind the Lancing backline and coolly slotted home.

A phenomenal four minutes for Golds was capped off by Gaskin. After his initial shot was saved by Fidler, the ball fell kindly and he made no mistake with the rebound to make it 3-0.

Golds extended their lead just a minute later, though, with a wonderfully-worked team goal. Pamment found Joe Shelley, who squared for Dave Herbert to finish the move off.

Guy Church did manage to pull a goal back for the visitors with a looping half-volley into the top corner with ten minutes left.

The home side restored their four-goal advantage two minutes later, though, when Lee Garnham crossed for Pamment, who saw his shot go in off the underside of the bar.
