Bognor head to Lewes - and need to get back to winning ways

The Rocks are on the Isthmian premier division road again tonight (Wednesday) - in need of three points to get their play-off push back on track.

The visit to Lewes' Dripping Pan - originally postponed on Boxing Day - is their third away game on the trot in the league - and the past two, to Enfield and Haringey, have finished in disappointing losses.

At Haringey, Bognor played most of the good football - only to lose 2-1 to Borough's only two meaningful efforts at goal.

Manager Jack Pearce and coach Robbie Blake are hoping for a better outcome tonight but are still working with a squad hit by injuries. Defender Joe Cook (knee), midfielder Doug Tuck (heel) and fellow midfield man Jake Flannigan (hamstring) are all still a little way off full fitness.

Bognor are ninth in the table and ten points off top five, so there is little room for more error if they are to force their way into the play-off picture.

We'll have a report from Lewes v Rocks on this website on Thursday morning.
