The deal is the first of its kind at the club, and will begin during the close season and will continue through to the 2023-24 campaign with the option of an additional year.

O'Neills will provide the Hornets with a brand new home and away shirt for the upcoming season for the first and youth teams. The club aims to put the designs of the new strips to a supporters vote before the final choice of apparel is chosen.

O'Neills supplies kit for Irish Rugby, the Republic of Ireland national football team as well as Argentinian giants Boca Juniors. The Irish company also supplies kits to fellow Sussex clubs Burgess Hill Town and Lancing.

Speaking to the club's website, the Hornets' Commercial Director Jonathan Kenworthy said: “Since our first conversation, O’Neills were mandated to provide us with a high quality product, and match our unofficial vision of becoming the most professional, non-professional club.

“We are delighted with the range and quality of O’Neills product line, and are looking forward to releasing details of some of the products to our fans and partners in the coming weeks.

“We’ve barely begun to expose the potential this club has to offer and are so pleased that we have a partner which shares our vision, as we hope to complete our first full season in our new ground next season.”
