Horsham YMCA’s reward for smashing seven goals past local rivals Lancing on Saturday is a third-round home FA Vase tie with Buckland Athletic.
That means Peter Buckland will have to knock out his namesake team if they are to keep their Wembley dream alive. YM – who are also coached by Lyndon Buckwell – were TalkSPORT commentator Tony Incenzo’s team of the week for their 7-1 success at Lancers.

Western League Premier Division outfit Buckland knocked out Isle of Wight based Newport with a 1-0 success on Saturday.
On the uniqueness of the draw, YM boss Buckland said: “It’s really bizarre. I have had someone on to me from the Torquay Herald wanting to run a story. It’s quite a bizarre thing, what are the odds?
“I am of West Country origin and it’s a very common name down there. It’s quite strange, but at least I can’t lose can I?

Hide Ad“It adds a bit more interest, but when it is all said and done, it is a game of football we have to win. It looks like a four-hour drive down there for me to watch them prior to playing them as it’s quite a serious stage now.
“We are at home and that’s a big thing, but I can’t comment on how tough it will be yet as I know nothing about them and they probably know nothing about us yet either.
“I do know though, that we are really, really looking forward to it.”
YM’s opponents are enjoying a successful league season – they sit fifth having won 11 of their 17 league matches.
