1,500 tickets sold already

Tickets for Hastings United’s FA Cup second round replay at home to Harrogate Town next Thursday (December 13) have been selling like hotcakes.

Around 1,500 tickets have already been sold for the biggest game in the history of the present day Hastings United even though it is being shown live on ESPN.

A message from the club’s official Twitter account this afternoon (Wednesday) read: “Around 1,500 tickets sold already! Even if nobody else wants one, that would be the highest competitive attendance for five years.”

Tickets were first available yesterday from the club office, but solely for season ticket holders, and they only went on general sale today from Sellens French Accountants, Smart Property Solutions, Deeks Evans Accountants and Green Insurance Group.

The admission prices will be £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and free for under-21s, although seats in the main stand will be subject to an additional charge of £2 and will also be limited in numbers for safety reasons.

Any unsold tickets will be available for purchase at the turnstiles on the night of the game, but if all tickets have been sold in advance, it will not be possible to enter the ground without one.
