Part of the grounds have been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The grounds in their present form were designed and constructed in the mid-18th century by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown.

There are Christmas puds and other festive goodies on offer, while a medal and glass of warming mulled wine will be waiting at the finish. The event is suitable for experienced runners and beginners alike, and there will also be a children’s race. The main race will start at 10.30am.
