Davis set for Wombles move

KEVIN Keehan said he was still in talks with Simon Wormull and Jean-Michel Sigere with a view to keeping them at the Dripping Pan, despite reports that the duo had been linked with a move to local rivals Eastbourne Borough.

Keehan said, "I've spoken to both of them and am hoping to speak to them again soon. I'm also still in talks with Anthony Barness."

Tom Davis is set to move to AFC Wimbledon for a "small fee".

Davis was one of only four players to be still under contract for next season but he made it clear to Keehan that he no longer wanted to play for the club.

Terms have been agreed with the South London club and he is expected to make the move sometime soon.

Keehan is still in talks with Horsham's Nigel Brake and Tom Graves and Dan Beck and Scott Harris, of Bognor Regis Town.

He is also hoping to have sealed the signature of a Ryman League goalkeeper by the end of the weekend.

Of the Board's decision to turn down the consortium, he said, "It's done now and out of the way.

"Now we just need to get on."
