Chance to see new sanctuary premises

THE Racehorse Sanctuary & Re-Homing Centre has moved to new premises in West Sussex at Belmoredean Stud, Maplehurst Road, Cowfold.It is celebrating the move with an Open Day there on Sunday, when the gates open at 1pm.

Resident flagship of the charity, Scottish Grand National winner Moorcroft Boy, will be joined for the day by the 1996 Martell Grand National winner Rough Quest and the 1992 Whitbread Gold Cup winner Topsham Bay for the public to see.

There will also be a short demonstration by a young ex-racehorse eventer. All horses currently at the centre will be paraded for the public.

There will also be stalls, raffles and auctions taking place with all proceeds going to The Racehorse Sanctuary, which does such a vital job in helping to retrain and rehome former racehorses.
