Bowls round-up: Horsham IBC recover from losses in style
Horsham IBC had a difficult start to the week when their gents were outplayed at Wealden IBC on six rinks to lose 159-95.
A trip to Adur followed when John Austin, Susan Hands, Fran Baillie and Maggie Dellard (22-12) were top rink as Horsham lost four of the five rinks.
Meanwhile, Horsham’s ladies beat Worthing IBC by 14 shots, as top Horsham rink went to Jill Webb, Judy Morris, Joy Reynolds and Monica Hargrave.
Also this week, Horsham gave the Sussex CIBA a warm welcome before dishing out a 144-89 defeat.
Top Horsham rink went to M Ryan, D Evans, B Baillie and J Coghlan after winning on ends won.
