Blues survive fight-back

RUSTINGTON Football Club extended their winning run at the start of the season to six games on Saturday although boss Gareth Davies was far from impressed with his side's performance.

He said: "Again, we have failed to take the game by the scruff of the neck and dominate for long periods.

"We are not firing on all cylinders at the moment and it is a real cause for concern. Too many people aren't doing themselves justice and we have a bit of growing up to do as a team.

"If we can still get results despite this, then great. However we all know that this side has much more to offer and we need to start showing it sooner rather than later."
