The club welcomed teams from Mid Sussex Marlins, based in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and Worthing Swimming Club.

The Atlantis swimmers started the evening in fine form and quickly established a sizable points lead. Their domination continued throughout the evening, including over 20 personal best swims, and after the 55 races had been completed, Atlantis were clear winners, having amassed 484 points. Marlins were second with 329 points, ahead of Worthing who recorded 189 points.

Atlantis now join Crawley and Brighton swimming clubs as the only undefeated teams in the league, and the three teams will swim against each other in the final gala this coming Saturday in Brighton, where the top three league places will be decided. The teams are very closely matched so it will prove to be a very tense and keenly contested gala.

Meanwhile last week the Sussex County ASA invited all their champions from The County Championships to a presentation evening in Hayward’s Heath. Amongst the winners were Atlantis swimmers Yasmin Hooker, Lily Davis, Michael Pallister, Ethel Whyman, Rebecca Barber and Maddie Carey.
