All Wright On Day

THE Wright brothers, James and Simon, swooped through Angmering Tennis Club's finals day on Saturday and flew off with all the available titles from Under-12 to 16.

In the U-16 final, Simon took a third-set tiebreak to defeat Michael Simpson and at U-12 James defeated Dean Cronk.

The U-14 final was an all-Wright affair Simon defeating James 6-0 6-2.

In doubles play, James paired up with Tim Withers for the U-12, Simon and Matt Saward took the U-14, and Dan Harrison was Simon's partner when they took the U-16 title.

And the Wright brothers hadn't finished there. Mixed doubles titles were going their way too, with James teaming up with Sara Trott for the U-12s, Simon joining Rosie Byars for U-14s glory, with Nikki Withers and Simon yet to play Dan and Emma Harrison in the U-16s event.

Simon Boorne, recently crowned club champion took the U-18 singles, as well as the doubles with Michael Simpson. Nikki Withers was U-18 girls champion.
