Yapton car crash leaves woman in hospital

A WOMAN had to be cut from her car after a crash in Yapton.

It collided with another car in Beverley Close at about 8.20pm on Saturday.

Fire crews from Arundel, Littlehampton and Chichester spent just over an hour to release her, using heavy rescue equipment.

A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said that the woman was taken to hospital, and that the driver of the other car was unhurt.
