Woman injured after Tarring hit and run

A WOMAN cyclist needed stitches in a head wound after a hit-and-run in Tarring.

The 45-year-old woman was cycling along Tarring Road, near the junction with Heene Road, at around 1.15pm on Friday when she was hit by a blue or grey car, which knocked her from her bike and drove off.

Anyone with any information about the car should call police on 0845 60 70 999.
