Woman hospitalised after crash in Barnham
A woman has been flown to hospital following a crash in Barnham, yesterday morning, officials from West Sussex Fire and Rescue announced today (Wednesday, December 12).
The incident took place in Lake Lane, at around 9.35am.
Fire crews from Littlehampton, Bognor and Chichester were called to rescue the trapped woman.
They used hydraulic cutting equipment to free her from the wrecked people carrier which had slammed into a wall.
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said the woman is believed to be a stable condition.
The incident has since been left with police.
