Windmill Cinema to re-open tomorrow

THE Windmill Cinema is to reopen tomorrow after being closed for more than a year.

As reported in the February 6 edition of the Gazette, the first film to be screened is 12 Years a Slave, which won best film at the Baftas on Sunday and is widely tipped for Oscar success.

The film will be screened at 7.30pm and is part of a full programme now confirmed by the cinema’s operators, The Windmill Cinema Ltd.

Other films to screen include Disney’s Frozen, Philomena, The Railway Man, Blue Jasmine, Captain Phillips, Untouchable and Saving Mr Banks.

Following this, there will be screenings of Gravity, Turbo, The Hobbit 2 and Mandela.

Tickets are on sale at the box office from today.
