Wick shop fire "was arson"

A FIRE that ripped through a Wick shop this morning (Friday, June 25) was started deliberately.

An investigation by West Sussex Fire and Rescue has found that the blaze, at Sunrise in True Blue Precinct, Wick Street, at about 2am, was the result of an arson attack.

Nearby flats were evacuated, and seven people forced to leave their homes, as it was feared that the fire would spread.
