St Mary Magdalene Parish Church service on Sunday 10th February will be an “All age worship” at 10.30am in the village hall. This is a service for everybody whatever age and of course all families are welcome to attend together. Children will be most welcome.

The work will be carried out with lane closures, temporary 40mph or 50mph speed limits in place and at some locations road users will be escorted past the works site at 10mph.

A reminder that the last day at school for the current term at Mountfield & Whatlington Primary school is Friday 15th February with back to school being Monday 25th February.

It’s time for the St Michael’s Hospice Quiz again! Compete against other pubs and clubs in the area to be the quiz champions. The quiz is set by the hospice and will take place at The Royal Oak on Thursday 21st February from 7.30pm. Please call and book a table for your team as it’s always a busy night and we’d want to make sure we have enough tables for everyone! This is a fun way to raise money for your local hospice, so please put the date in your diary.

Irish Music Night falls on Friday 22nd February this month. This is our regular jamming style session of traditional Irish tunes played by some of the most talented musicians in the area – it is a unique evening of live music that is the perfect way to set up your weekend.
