Wax the way!
A MOMENT of madness by a Lancing bar manager has raised more than £500 for Worthing Hospital's special care baby unit.
Gareth Cornford, of the Crabtree Inn, had his legs waxed last month to raise money for the unit and, on Saturday, he handed over 515 to staff from the hospital.
"It was a moment of madness," he joked. "We actually did it on Children in Need night. It was as painful as I thought it would be!" Gareth said they were planning to do more fund-raising events for the unit.
