Update: Crawley level crossing fixed

A police spokesman said the crossing in Horsham Road was broken and stuck down at 3.54pm today (Tuesday March 22).

Crawley Police asked people to avoid the area while Network Rail was dealing with the incident.

Update: The level crossing was fixed by 4.57pm.
