BREDE FLOWER FESTIVAL: Tomorrow (Saturday) the annual splendid display of imaginative floral compositions will be on show in St George's Church between 10am and 5.30pm. This year their theme is Favourite Films. Please refer to the Brede village voice for opening times on Sunday and Monday, and for full details of the many other attractions on offer at the Festival. These include an innovation this year, a concert in the church on Saturday evening: the jazz group Java Jam will be presenting two sets, with an interval for a paella supper, prepared by Gary at the Red Lion. The evening starts at 7.30pm and is due to end at about 10pm. The £10 cost of tickets (bookable by ringing 01424 883408 or 01424 882188, or at the door) includes the supper and a glass of prosecco.
