Two Litlehampton men charged over mass brawl

Matthew Clayton, 24, of Highdown Drive, and Stuart McCullough, 21, of Seaton Road, Wick, have been charged with violent disorder, following the fight, in Grove Hill, Brighton, at about 4.30pm on July 31 last year.

Police received 28 calls from the public relating to the fight, believed to be between 50-100 Brighton and Tottenham Hotspurs fans.

Clayton and McCullough, along with Dante Lauder-Hawkins, 21, Martin Asli, 47, and Steven White, 44, all from London, Steven Davison, 30, from Essex, Matthew Keech, 27, from Barnet, Jamie Lowe, 43, and Ben Goodwin, 21, both from Portslade, Harvey Siney, 18, from Hove, David Prowse, 33 from Lancing, and Matthew Cummings, from Henfield, will appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on May 5.
