Emergency services called after person hit by a train

Heavy traffic on the A27

The A27 has been partially blocked, causing heavy traffic, due to stalled vehicle. It has happened on the eastbound carriageway close between the A293 (Portslade turn off) and the A2038 King George VI Avenue (Hove turn off), according to reports.

Reports of animals on the road

There are reports of sheep on the road on the A2037 Shoreham Road, affecting traffic both ways at Horn Lane.

Motorists have been advised to approach with care.

A22 collision cleared

A collision, reported on the A22, at the A26 Lewes Road has now been reported as cleared.

The incident on the roundabout was first reported at 6am, but traffic is said to be coping well.

Fallen tree causes 'severe' disruption

A fallen tree near Ore has caused ’severe’ delays on the railways this morning. Services to and from Ashford International have been cancelled with some services terminated at Hastings.

National Rail said the tree has now been removed but services are expected to be disrupted until 9am.
