Serious accident closes M23 near Gatwick
A serious accident on the M23 has caused major problems for people travelling in the Gatwick area this morning (Monday June 24).
The motorway has been closed southbound between M25 and juntion 9 (Gatwick Airport).
The accident involved one car and accident investigation work is continuing.
There is congestion to juntion 7, A23 (Purley).
