Overturned car lands on gas pipe at Albourne

Firefighters were called to Henfield Road just before 7am.

A car had overturned and the male driver had got out of the vehicle before emergency services arrived.

He was checked over by ambulance paramedics.

The car was on top of a gas feed pipe to a nearby house.

The vehicle was removed by a recovery lorry and Transco Gas company notified to check the pipe.
