Collision involving pedestrian near Robertsbridge school

An accident has taken place in Robertsbridge near a school this afternoon (Thursday, November 5).

According the AA, the collision involved a pedestrian in Brightling Road at the turn off for Robertsbridge Community College.

The road is currently partially blocked, which is affecting traffic heading in and out of Robertsbridge.

The incident was first reported just after 3.45pm today.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “One ambulance crew has attended the scene and the male pedestrian has been taken to hospital with what is believed to be minor injuries.”
