New tenants are being sought for two Sussex pubs: the Blacksmith's Arms off the A29 at Adversane and the Half Moon at Balcombe.

Property specialists Fleurets say both pubs will be let ‘free of tie.’

Fleurets spokesman Nick Earee said: “The Blacksmiths Arms is a historic and attractive pub/restaurant, which occupies a great site and would suit an experienced publican, restaurateur or caterer to drive the business forward.”

He added: “The Half Moon is both a picturesque and traditional building. The property is very much part of the village community although it also attracts trade from a wide catchment area.”
