Surgery's health fair
Grove House Surgery in conjunction with their patient group hosted a successful health fair at the Willowhale Community Centre in Rose Green earlier this month with an aim to raise awareness of a range of health issues and services available in the locality.
Twelve organisations were represented, offering information and advice on a wide range of medical issues, among them heart disease, prostate cancer, osteoporosis and diet.
The event was well attended by the community who were also given the chance to have their blood pressure and cholesterol levels checked.
