Shop theft foiled

Three Bognor Regis men were interviewed by police this week on suspicion of attempted theft.

The men '“ aged 21, 23 and 27 '“ were quizzed by detectives on Tuesday.

They are believed to be the suspects who attempted to steal items from a shop display cabinet at the Cheque Exchange on the High Street about 11.45am the previous day.

The men were arrested following an attempted theft at a shop in Beach Road, Littlehampton, after police officers spotted the reported getaway car on CCTV.
