Security gates for Bognor school

Security gates could be installed behind Nyewood Infant and Junior schools along Hastings Close in Bognor Regis to reduce anti-social behaviour.

The gates would be installed along an alleyway. They would provide better school security and stops youths drinking and disturbing residents as well as preventing flytipping.

The keys to the gates, known as alleygator gates, would be held only by the schools and nearby residents.

PCSO Justina Baker has met with Arun District Council to discuss the plans.

Residents told her tackling the problems linked with the alley were a priority.
