Seafront blaze 'like a blast furnace'
More than 50 firefighters tackled a blaze in a seafront block of flats on Sunday afternoon.
The fire badly damaged a top-floor flat in Heene Terrace and part of the seafront had to be closed to traffic.
Firefighters were called following reports of flames coming from a top-floor window at about 1.20pm.
