Rye man dies in road accident
A MOTORCYCLIST who died in a collision on the Rye harbour Road on Wednesday afternoon was a 20 year old man from Rye.
The man, who has not been named, sadly died at the scene after his Suzuki SV 1000 bike was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall combi-van and a Vauxhall people carrier.
The drivers of both other vehicles were uninjured.
An 83 year old man, from Littlehampton, who was driving the combi-van, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been bailed until May.
