Road closures planned for coming weeks in Horsham district

From replacing a pole damaged in an accident to a detailed examination of a bridge, much of the work will be carried out at night to reduce traffic problems.

The list of works are:

Adversane Lane, Billingshurst, lift and replace level crossing for tamping machine (machine used to pack the track ballast under railway tracks to make the tracks more durable). Overnight Road Closure. September 1/2.

Wooddale Lane, Billingshurst, replace pole damaged in traffic accident. Road Closure. August 24.

Nep Town Road, Henfield, lay new water main (between Broomfield Road and Barrow Hill). Road Closure. August 30 - October 11.

Black Horse Way, Horsham, remove Beales sign. Overnight Road Closure. August 29/30.

Comptons Lane roundabout, Horsham, remove high mast from centre of roundabout. Road Closure. August 18.

Queensway, Horsham, lay electricity cable in carriageway. Road Closure. August 22-24.

St Leonards Road, Horsham, access manhole for CCTV survey and sewer cleaning. Road Closure. August 22-24.

Two Mile Ash Road, Itchingfield, detailed examination of rail over road bridge. Overnight Road Closure. August 29/30.

Church Lane, Lower Beeding, access underground BT structure to repair service. Road Closure. August 22.

Broomers Hill Lane, Pulborough, lift and replace crossing for tampering machine to pass through. Overnight Road Closure. August 31/September 1.

Pollards Hill northbound, Shipley, carriageway resurfacing. Overnight Road Closure. August 30 - September 14.

Pollards Hill roundabout, Shipley, remove high mast from centre of roundabout. Road Closure. August 18/19.

Worthing Road northbound, Shipley, carriageway resurfacing (section north of Buck Barn). Overnight Road Closure. August 30 - September 14.

Kerves Lane, Southwater, reactive jetting. Road Closure. August 18.

Reeds Lane, Southwater, build concrete chamber and install duct in carriageway. Road Closure. August 22 - September 19.

Two Mile Ash, Southwater, jetting and ditching works. Road Closure. August 22/23.
