He has been seen in the town very recently.

Sussex Police said officers want to speak to Nelson about a number of incidents in which he is believed to have been involved, including a stabbing in Priory Road on April 21.

The victim, an 18-year-old man from Hastings, sustained five stab wounds during the attack, none of which were life-threatening.

As a result of this incident Nelson is also wanted on recall to prison for breaching the terms of his licence.

He had been released from prison earlier in April part of the way through a five month sentence for burglary offences.

Detective Inspector Rob Morland said: “We have information that Nelson is still in the Hastings area, and has been seen in the town within the past few days.

“We hope this reward will encourage someone to come forward with information and we repeat our warning that anyone who assists Nelson to evade arrest in any way will be found and arrested too, and that they may prosecuted for harbouring and assisting an offender.”
