Earlier today (Monday July 21) it was announced that Celtique Energie’s application for a temporary well on land near Northup Copse south of Kirdford Road to look for oil and gas had been deferred to allow officers to look at additional information supplied by the firm.

This was after WSCC’s planning officers recommended that the proposal be refused, and Celtique requested its application be deferred to discuss officers’ objections.
